🌟Photo 1: The glam, the glow, the cute couple moment.

🤣 Photo 2: Me, an hour earlier with leftover pizza in the car in a fancy dress because I went straight from a client event (a liquor store with 18 tastings 🥃) to an open bar wedding.

Running a business means sometimes dinner is cold pizza on the go and your glam squad is the rearview mirror, but listen, I knew I needed something in my stomach before that open bar. 😅

We were so excited that we could join the Greene County Chamber of Commerce for the ribbon-cutting at Treehorn Farm Flowers & Books in Climax, NY! 🌸📚

This gorgeous new spot offers fresh-cut blooms, a seasonal flower CSA, a thoughtfully curated bookstore for all ages and more! What a beautiful addition to our community! 😍

I brought along my two mini assistants and they were over the moon to try edible flowers for the very first time! 🌼 & They loved the gardening pop-up book they found in the store while I couldn’t resist picking up a punny tote and a book about dahlias.

As a board member and social media manager for this incredible organization and someone who specializes in social media for rural and nonprofit businesses it means the world to see our work uplifting the Ravena Coeymans Selkirk community recognized. 🙌

Extra special moment? I got to announce the Top 6 Women changemaker winners on stage (including one of my favorite people, our amazing board chair Marlene McTigue) and I think it was the first time my husband’s ever heard me speak publicly at an event. 😅💬

I’m back to posting so here’s to a April Photo Dump 😂🌸

Family came to visit from Florida, which meant extra laughter, late nights and lots of thrift runs (because I clearly can’t say no to a vintage hand mirror.)

Note to self: Be very specific when asking your husband to take a picture if you have a certain vision in your head..

Between client meetings, content strategy and managing all things social media, April was chaotic in the best way.

Also… 10/10 do not recommend getting an allergic reaction to poison oak the week of your 34th birthday. But hey, at least it made for an interesting one! 😵

One of the biggest perks of running a social media agency? Flexibility.

This past week, I managed to:
• Take a virtual client meeting from the porch while family visited from Florida
• Play in my high school alumni game with my dad , with my kids and family cheering us on
• Visit Indian Ladder Farms for their Baby Animal Day—goats, chicks and very curious kiddos
• Wrap up some work this morning before heading out for a family hike

Is my life always this balanced? Not even close. Most days it’s a mix of coffee, chaos and trying to finish emails while negotiating with toddlers over snack choices.

But when the balance does fall into place, I’m reminded exactly why I built this business. Grateful for a career that works around real life—not the other way around.

This week's recap:

☀️ A Heat wave called for an impromptu family picnic for dinner with subs & lots of giggles.

💻 Virtual calls—client chats, content calendars and trainings (even if I was in sweatpants).

🍞 Homemade bread therapy- kneading dough between notifications = highly recommend. 😜

❤️ Family time overload—little hands helping in the kitchen, prepping for family to visit next week, lots of snuggles and tiny voices popping into Zoom meetings.

Balancing work + mom life isn’t always picture perfect, but these are the days I’ll want to remember.

March was a whirlwind! ✨

From content shoots (for myself & my amazing clients) to networking, attending media conference, sneaking in quick work while getting my hair done and making memories with our kiddos—including the cutest Toy Story birthday for our little man. 🎉

But the biggest milestone?
One full year since I landed my first social media client on my own—not freelancing for someone else. That client was the first in many that helped me match my full-time nursing income, which meant saying goodbye to my per diem nursing job and fully stepping into this dream business. 🥹✨

March, you were BIG. Let’s see what April’s got! 🚀

What a whirlwind of a week for my business!

Between exciting new business referrals, lining up internships and onboarding new monthly social media management clients, things have been moving fast and I couldn’t be more grateful. 💕

On Thursday, I had the opportunity to attend the NY Press Association Spring Conference at the the Saratoga Hilton for the second year in a row to see David Arkin speak. Having freelanced with David for the past year, I’ve learned so much, but this time was extra special. ⭐️

During his presentation, I had a pinch-me moment when he shared a slide featuring the narrative daily newsletter I create for one of his clients! Seeing my work highlighted like that was surreal, especially since I now manage 11 of these newsletters every week.

After his two insightful presentations, I got the chance to sit down with David and pick his brain about my business and future goals. With 25+ years in media and such a creative, forward-thinking approach, his insights were beyond valuable. I left feeling inspired, full of new ideas and even more excited for what’s next!

And of course, no conference is complete without catching up with some of my favorite people! Loved connecting with Marlene and the team at Capital Region Independent Media.

The momentum is building, and I can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes my business! 🚀✨
