The journey began on the South Shore over 50 years ago, weaving a powerful story that continues to inspire, led by five remarkable local mothers, three from Cohasset. United by the common experience of raising children with Down syndrome and autism during a time of limited resources and understanding, they embarked on a lifelong path of advocacy, resilience, and profound friendship.
This project is not just a tribute; it stands as a testament to community strength, maternal fortitude, and the essential task of amplifying often overlooked voices.
