🕙 10:00 AM – Santa’s Coming! at Cohasset Harbor
Santa & Mrs. Claus arrive by lobster boat 🎅🦞, plus hot cocoa, treats, kids’ photos, & storytime.
👉 Raffle tickets for a ride with Santa available through Nov. 21.

📍 Saturday, Dec. 13
🕟 4:30–7:30 PM – Cohasset Village Holiday Stroll
Food, drinks, live music, caroling, hayrides, Santa, silent auction, and special offerings from local businesses.
South Shore Art Center will host vendors, crafts, ornament decorating, mulled cider & more.

📍 Sunday, Dec. 14
🕙 10:00 AM–4:00 PM – South Shore Merry Market at The Red Lion Inn Barn
60+ local artisans, kids’ activities, Santa photos, live music, hot cocoa, waffles, and festive family fun.
Proceeds support A Place to Rise. 🎁

🏈 The No. 1 ranked Cohasset football team (7-2) got out to a bit of a slow start in their MIAA Division 7 Tournament opener against No. 16 Leicester (6-3) Friday night, but things changed quickly after halftime and the Skippers put up 21 points in the third quarter on the way to a 35-17 win.

👏🏫 Cohasset Middle School has been named the 9th best public middle school in Massachusetts, according to a new ranking from U.S. News & World Report.

John Scopelleti, the Cohasset Middle School principal, is proud of the school’s achievement saying, “This is a great recognition for a lot of hard work from a lot of great people.”

The Sun’s been shining bright in Cohasset since Stevie G’s opened its doors in Cohasset Plaza this June! 🌻

The Cohasset Anchor stopped by to check out this local favorite — open 7:30 AM – 2 PM — and trust us, it’s a must-visit. From “Grandpa’s Awesome Breakfast” 🍳 to fried chicken, burgers, and plenty of vegetarian 🌱 & gluten-free options, there’s something for everyone. Plus, enjoy lattes, local craft beers, mocktails, mimosas, and live music on weekends! 🎶

We loved the vibey decor, bright atmosphere, and delicious dishes like the Smashed Avocado Benny, House Roasted Turkey Sandwich, and warm, gooey cinnamon bun. 😋

Owner Andrew Loconsolo recommends the Candied Kielbasa Benny for savory fans and the Raspberry Danish Pancakes for something sweet. 🍽️

🇺🇸 Cohasset Veterans Day Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park — all are welcome to attend.

The program will include patriotic music and presentations from the Deer Hill School essay contest winners.

Following the ceremony, a veterans lunch will be held at the George H. Mealy American Legion Post #118.

⚽️ The Cohasset boys soccer team will have its work cut out for them if they’re going to repeat as Division 4 State Champions.

The Skippers, a much different squad from last season, won their Tournament opener in style, beating visiting No. 48 ranked St. Bernards 8-2 Monday at home.

🏑 It did not take long for the Cohasset field hockey team to take control of its opening round matchup against Tahanto Friday afternoon.

Grace Kiernan scored just 39 seconds into the game and Libby Struzziero added a second less than a minute later for a quick 2-0 lead and the No. 3 ranked Skippers (13-3-0) rolled to a 7-0 win over No. 30 Tahanto (13-6-0) to set up a Round of 16 game against No. 14 Nipmuc (10-7-2)

After twelve years of service to Cohasset, Town Manager Chris Senior has announced that he will be stepping down at the end of his current contract.

“This has been the most engaging, fulfilling, and rewarding job I have ever had,” said Senior. ‘I want to thank the Select Board and the hundreds of residents and staff I have had the privilege to work with over the past dozen years. Together we were able to reach some amazing goals, and I will be forever grateful for having had the opportunity to do so much together for Cohasset.”
