Thanks for joining us for our very first Angel of the Week! 🤍

This episode was recorded live, but we kept the broadcast private as a test run while we worked out all the details. From here on out, we’ll actually be LIVE with all of you—reading your comments, answering questions, and hopefully sharing some really special moments together.

We haven’t decided on an official day or time yet, but we’ll be announcing that very soon!

For now, we hope you enjoy our very first weekly Angel of the Week.

We all have people in our lives who deserve to know how much they mean to us. Sometimes we just need a reminder to tell them.

Do you have an angel in your life you’d like to nominate? Send us their story at [email protected]. We would love to hear about them and possibly feature them in an upcoming Angel of the Week.

Thank you for being here and helping us celebrate the incredible people God places in our lives.

“That’s why I came, Mom—was to teach you how to love.”

After losing her baby, LaRee carried a grief that didn’t disappear simply because she still had so many blessings around her.

Then, at another baby’s funeral, she heard the voice of the daughter she had lost. In that tender moment, LaRee began to understand that her daughter’s life—however brief—had changed the way she loved, listened, and held space for her other children.

Some lives are brief, but their love and influence remain.

Watch LaRee’s full story in “Thomas Isn’t Here Yet” — Season 2, Episode 68.

If this reminds you of someone who needs to know their baby mattered, share it with them. 🤍

Then, while praying in her closet, she heard a little girl’s voice say:

“Thomas isn’t here yet.”

What followed was a tender journey through motherhood, unexpected healing, heavenly reassurance, and the people who became angels when LaRee needed them most.

In Season 2, Episode 68, LaRee shares how God met her in her pain—and helped her rebuild an identity she had placed entirely in motherhood.

We believe in angels—both seen and unseen. ✨

Some guide us in ways we may never fully understand. Others walk beside us every day: encouraging us, caring for us, supporting us, and bringing light into our lives.

Through our new weekly series, Angel of the Week, we want to celebrate some of those seen angels. 🤍

Nominate an angel in your life by telling us:

• Who they are
• How they’ve been an angel in your life
• Why you love and appreciate them
• An optional photo, if everyone pictured is comfortable with it being shared

Each week, we’ll select one story to highlight and celebrate with our community.

LaRee Baker’s story is one of loss, faith, unexpected healing, and the quiet ways heaven reminds us that we are never alone.

Through some of the hardest moments of her life came tender reminders that there may be far more happening around us than we can see—and that sometimes, the people we love are closer than we think.

Long before there was an Angels Among Us Podcast… there was this song. 🤍

When Teagon was only a few months old, I had a song made for Mikaela for our anniversary. Before I ever gave it to her, I would sit with Teagon at night and play it for him over and over again.

Somehow, it became his song too.

Ever since then, when he’s upset or having a hard time, this has been one of the only things that can really calm him down. And now that he’s getting older, he’s started singing along. 🥹

This song already means so much to our family for so many reasons.

But there’s one little detail that makes it even more special now…

We didn’t write the song. We didn’t even get to choose the title. The songwriting company named it for us:

“An Angel My Way.”

This was well before Angels Among Us was ever even a thought.

Maybe it’s just a really beautiful coincidence.

But knowing where our lives have taken us since then… we sure love it. 🤍

Go look for those angels. 🤍
