Hey girls, this is Dennis. ❤️

I wanted to jump on here because Casey is sleeping, and I know some of you are going to wonder where she is.

She hasn't had her ADHD medication for 3 days because of a shortage, and unfortunately it's going to be another 3 days before she can get it.

Yesterday everything finally caught up with her.

She's dealing with what she calls ADHD paralysis. For anybody who doesn't understand what that means, it isn't that she doesn't WANT to do anything.

It's almost the opposite.

Her brain sees EVERYTHING that needs done at the same time. She knows what she needs to do. She wants to do it. But she gets so overwhelmed trying to figure out what to start first that she can't get herself started at all.

Then she gets upset with herself because she isn't getting things done. She thinks about everything she's behind on, everything everybody needs from her, and it just keeps piling on in her head.

Yesterday she cried most of the day and kept apologizing for being the way she is.

What I wish she could see is what I see.

Nobody sees everything this woman does for everybody.

Yesterday wasn't one thing that broke her. It was everything hitting her at once.

Today she says her body feels like a ton of bricks and all she wants to do is sleep.

So she's sleeping. She's okay, she's safe, and I'm making sure she rests.

With another 3 days before she can get her medication, she may be quieter than normal. If she isn't live or doesn't answer, please give her some grace.

She doesn't need to apologize for this.

Today I'm taking care of the woman who spends so much of her life taking care of everybody else. ❤️

You don't always have to have the answer.

And you don't have to pretend you're okay just because everybody is used to you being okay.

Sometimes “I'm having a sh*tty day” is a complete sentence. ❤️
