I remember climbing up those sticks into my tree for the afternoon, with every step up I had to be extra careful to not slip & fall. Every branch & stick was covered in a layer of ice. I settled in but not very quietly.

I waited, but not for long before I could hear the thin layer of ice breaking above the snow. Not far, maybe 100 yards down in the timber. Then I see a rack. He’s slowly making his way toward my food plot. With every step he takes, his hooves break through the ice into the snow. He’s here now, 15 yards & broadside.

A hunt I could never forget from the 2020 season that I never shared here.

Starting off the whitetail season right in Ohio! I made my way over to my buddy Ryan’s outfit like I do every season & smashed a stud we had a few years of history with! We captured some great footage over the years passing this buck waiting for him to hit 5. Can’t thank Ryan enough for always hosting such a great hunt & putting me on him 🤙

9/23/25 - Wyoming with &

Feeling pretty lucky to be heading home with this bull. This was my one and only opportunity after 20 plus days hunting in the mountains.

Can’t thank Jake & Cam enough for the effort they put in with me. Both these guys played a huge role in making this happen.

Long story short Jake ran a calling sequence that fired up about 3 bulls. With Cam on the 🎥 we pushed slightly up & got into position while Jake kept them interested. Shortly after this bull came rushing by at 80 yards never stoping for a shot but ran right into Jake’s lap. Jake stood still & it gave me a opportunity to move into a better position. The bull stood there for about 2 minutes in front of him before quickly turning to come back up the same trail he came down. This time I was in a perfect spot to get my shot!
At 39 yards quartered to me, I let it fly!

All the preparation has been done. Food plots are in across the Midwest to the East. With all the hard work done here ...

With all the hard work done here it’s time to head West to chase some bulls!
