I do not think I will call it “recovery” any longer.

Once I called it sobriety and that didn’t fit. That’s just NOT drinking.

Recovery felt better because it implies getting things back.

Now that doesn’t fit either. I don’t want to “recover” the me that was here prior to addiction. That dude had issues. He was weaker than this version of me today.

From here on out my EVOLUTION date is 9/11/22. That’s when I began to evolve into this badass.

Take your power back. Leave the weak talk behind. You have earned it! 💪
