⭐️⭐️ Attention Basic Skills Parents!! 📣📣
Important Costume Info for Ice Show below!

Costumes will be handed out today (12/21) during basic skills lessons. All costumes must be tried on for fit and signed out by a parent before they are taken from the arena. Board members will be in the lobby to hand out costumes and help with size adjustments.

No costumes can be exchanged once they are taken home. No exceptions!

Seeking donation of functional file cabinet!

This is a picture of our club file cabinet. We have outgrown the 2 drawer one and this one does not close. If anyone has a gently used 4 drawer file cabinet they would be interested in donating to the skating club to replace our sad 2 drawer file cabinet, please contact Emily Major at 218-398-2887. We did not do a hustle duck award for Junior Club tonight because Coach Emily was in the board meeting for most of practice. However, I did take a look out from the lobby at the end of practice and saw every single one of the girls in Junior Club tonight working diligently on Skating Skills patterns, and that just warms this coach's heart. ❤️ Junior Club has come such a long way in a few short weeks, all the skaters deserve a pat on the back. Hustle duck will be back tomorrow!

⭐️📸 Attention Junior/Senior Club Skaters!📢

We will be taking a photo for our new club banner promptly ar 7:30 pm tomorrow 12/14 between Junior and Senior Club. This is not mandatory but if you want to be part of this please be on the ice at 7:30 and meet by the Zamboni doors. Junior clubbers stay on the ice, Senior clubbers be on time or even a few minutes early to get on.

Edited to note - we are making a heart out of skates/feet so no faces will be in photo and no makeup is necessary.

Tonight we did a group hustle duck award. Not all the girls are pictured here as some of them got off the ice before I could get the picture organized. The Junior Club girls have all been working so hard in the last couple weeks since hustle duck started, they all deserve to be recognized. Please make sure to tell your skaters they are doing an excellent job out there, each week they come and are eager to work and learn. The girls also got bonus candy canes tonight because Coach Emily finally remembered everyone's names. Yay!!

🐥🐥 I am a day late posting, but yesterday's JC hustle duck winner is Sophia because she has been asking patiently to learn the Waltz 8 pattern since we started working on patterns, and tonight we FINALLY started learning the Waltz 8 pattern!
