Hi all, my name is Cynthia and I am the owner here at The Shabby Heart by Vines. I started this business back in 2010 and have gone through many changes since the beginning. I started out making fun and funky recycled coats and selling them on Etsy. I have sold well over 300 coat, all made by me. I expanded into selling all types of recycled clothing and Ugly Christmas sweaters over the years. I a

m now returning to my first love of crafting and want to share my passion with you. Fortunately I have a wonderful husband who puts up with all my crazy ideas and lets me try almost anything! I help take care of my elderly parents along with my sister. I am a mom to two grown children and "GiGi" to two adorable grandchildren, a girl 5 and a boy 3. I take care of them three days a week but I will always find time to share my love for crafting, shopping and who knows what else with you. I hope you join me on the new and exciting journey of mine. It's been a while since my last post, as I've been grappling with personal demons and grieving the loss of my mother. The recent passing of a beloved community member serves as a stark reminder of life's delicate nature. I urge everyone to shower loved ones with affection and verbalize their appreciation, as tomorrow is never guaranteed. Sweet Sheri, you will be profoundly missed.

Good morning friends. I know I've been missing in action lately. I've been trying to pack up my mom's house. I cannot believe how much (junk) one little old 93 year old woman can have! I think she kept everything that passed through her little hands. I've barely scratched the surface. We are now down in Palm Springs for a few days to work on her house. We're hoping to get enough done to go ahead and list it. My job will be helping put in the remaining flooring in, painting baseboards as Edward installs them, and painting the bathroom and bedroom. Right now I'm having coffee and looking at my mountains that mom loved so much. 💞
