I’m Still Fighting for Southside Media. And I Need Your Help.

For 17 years, I’ve been doing media work for our communities in South Metro Atlanta—long before it was trendy, profitable, or backed by grants. I’ve written, edited, produced, and published with my own hands. No corporate pipeline. No political puppeteers. Just grassroots work for people who deserve real coverage.

Most of the stories we’ve told wouldn’t have been told without us.

We asked the tough questions.

We filed the open records.

We showed up to the meetings—and we told the truth.

When Clayton County lost its media outlet, we didn’t just watch—we expanded to bring them in. Because the Aerotropolis matters. You matter. You are the why.

From Home Rule News to South7585News, I’ve been in this game when others backed out.

I stayed when funding dried up.

I stayed when my work was stolen.

I stayed when the "establishment" didn’t want anything to do with an unbought, unbossed voice.

And they definitely talked about us—because we put what they said ON THE RECORD.

Now I’m asking—not for sympathy—but for support.

South7585News needs help to stay online and grow.
If you’ve ever read something I wrote, shared a story, told me, “You should be bigger,” or complained about the weak media ecosystem—this is your moment to show love.

If you know me, you know this is more than a hustle.
This is my life’s work. I won’t water it down. I won’t sell it out.
I’ve shown and proved for 17 years. Let’s make it another 17—with more hands on deck.

Let’s keep Southside stories in Southside hands.

And this are 2020 photos, we kept churning out stories during the pandemic.
