📣 Puzzling for a Purpose Update

Due to an unforeseen conflict at our venue, tonight’s Puzzling for a Purpose event has been postponed to Saturday, July 11.

While we’re disappointed to not be puzzling tonigth as planned, we’re grateful for your understanding and continued support. 💖

If you were registered for tonight’s event, you should have received an email with a registration code that will allow you to reserve your spot for the July 11 competition using a credit from this event before registration opens to the public.

Thanks to our friends at American Plumbing Company, we're assembling a rag-tag team of four puzzle enthusiasts to compete on Friday, June 12, from 7–9 PM at The Top Shelf Bar & Event Center in Downtown Bryan.

Last time, our Pipe Dreams team walked away with 2nd Place—who knows this time, they could win it all! 🏆

🎉 Four winners will be selected at random to form the June Pipe Dreams Speed Puzzling Team and will receive:

Last month’s winners, "The Giltter Girls" were first-time speed puzzlers, but that didn’t hold them back!

Gather your friends and join us as The Carlson Law Firm proudly presents Puzzling for a Purpose on Friday, June 12, from 7–9 PM at The Top Shelf Bar & Event Center (400 N. Bryan Ave. in Downtown Bryan). You won’t want to miss this night of speed puzzling, friendly competition, and lots of fun!

We are so excited to officially introduce the new logo for the Acara Hospice Foundation!

This beautiful new design was created by the incredibly talented Nicole Holmes of after we were honored to win her Brand Boost Giveaway — and we truly cannot say enough wonderful things about the experience of working with her.

Nicole is thoughtful and intuitive, asking good questions, listening deeply to her clients, and transforming those conversations into designs that genuinely reflect the heart and mission of the organizations she serves. We loved every concept she presented to us (so much so that choosing was difficult!), but ultimately selected this logo because it felt like the truest representation of who we are as a foundation.

The logo features bright, bold Acara colors and a sun that can be seen as either rising or setting — symbolizing the Acara Hospice Foundation’s commitment to shining light and walking alongside hospice patients and families through both beginnings and endings. The sunshine element is also an intentional nod to our logo.

Beneath the sun is a green plant, representing our desire to nurture, hospice patients in our community through free hospice education, as well as physical and financial assistance.

Finally, the entire logo is framed within a house-shaped structure — a reminder of our long-term vision to build and sustain a community hospice house.

We absolutely love our new logo and are excited to begin rolling it out across our website, materials, and future projects. Most of all, we are deeply grateful to Nicole for the care, creativity, and thoughtfulness she poured into helping us establish a brand identity of our own.
