You need a hat! Trust me, it's cheaper to buy a hat now than to get laser treatments and botox later. Marshalls has a lot of really cute hats - cowboy, bucket, sun and more - at great prices. I like to keep an extra hat in my car, so buy two. Don't forget the sunscreen too! Trust this old broad.

Going to a graduation party, baby shower, or picnic? Wawa has catering boxes with a handy bag for transport! Everyone loved the hoagies. I had them cut 10 in half (for 20 hoagies) because we are a bunch of old broads and don't need a whole hoagie. This is prefect for summer when you don't want to cook!

I don't know who has been following my quest for the elusive hazelnut bushes, but thank you to all who helped especially in all the Chester County FB groups. I found them at Apricity Gardens in Glenmoore! It is a family owned garden center. The couple who run it are adorable! Mark knows his plants and took the time to help me find my shrubs. He even showed me other fruit shrubs that I might want. They have so much! I didn't have time to go to their greenhouse or into the gift shop, but I will next time because I will be back!


I do not own this or any of the businesses that I post. I'm just an old broad excited to finally find hazelnut bushes! Lots of gravel, so wear sensible shoes and take a cane if you are an old broad and need it.

I went to Glick's Greenhouse looking for the elusive hazelnut bush only to find out that they don't carry shrubs of any kind. They did have 99 cent succulents. If you are looking for a teacher gift or favors, this is the place to go for cute small succulents. They also have lots of hanging baskets.
Small flat parking lot. Lots of helpful people.
