Improvement doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when you show up, put in the work, and trust that every little effort adds up. Some days, it’s exciting. Other days, it’s just quiet consistency. But all of it matters.

𝑰’𝒗𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆!
For a long time, I struggled with people-pleasing. 🙋‍♀️ I was constantly saying yes to projects because I didn’t want to disappoint anyone. But I quickly learned that without clear expectations and boundaries, things get overwhelming 𝙛𝙖𝙨𝙩!

Trying to do too much at once only leads to burnout and missed deadlines. So now, I set clear expectations with clients and prioritize the most important tasks. 💡

I’ve learned that 𝒔𝒂𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒏𝒐 𝐢𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐬 𝒔𝒂𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒚𝒆𝒔 when it comes to managing your time effectively.

The biggest lie I told myself this year was that my value depended on doing it all and making everyone happy. 🫣

As a mom of three, a wife, a student, and a business owner, I stretched myself thin, believing I could juggle it all. Instead of thriving, I found myself burnt out, overwhelmed, and disconnected from the life I wanted.

I kept saying “yes” to avoid conflict and disappointment, but inside, I was breaking. When I finally set boundaries, it felt abrupt because I hadn’t communicated my struggles along the way. Resentment and unhealthy coping mechanisms crept in, but I knew something had to change.

The turning point came when I realized I didn’t have to carry everything on my own. Through prayer and intentional choices, I let go of the hustle mentality and focused on aligning with my true purpose.

This year wasn’t perfect, but it brought me growth I didn’t expect. I’m learning to embrace boundaries, prioritize self-care, and redefine success, not as doing more, but as doing what matters most.

Here’s to a messy, transformative year and the clarity it brought. 💛 Happy New Year & Goodbye 2024!

We had the pleasure of attending Ken Jordan's Introduction to "The Blueprint" which was definitely a game-changer for me. It taught me the importance of setting "Objectives" and how to break it down into smaller attainable "Key Results" through a scorecard system.
