Morning everyone-I’m finally up for some air after the whirlwind that’s been the past 11 months. Last night, I along with my other three ballot mates were officially sworn-in as new Southeast Delco School Board Directors. To say that I’m beyond blessed and excited is an understatement. Contrary to popular belief, I never aspired to be an elected official- I wanted to serve people but didn’t want the politics. But the need for change was too great and if not us, then who? So today I begin the first full day as a new school board member and we have a lot of work ahead of us.

I want to thank my team-my ride or die, couldn’t do this without you, my rib and heart Chrisheena, my mommy Claudia, mom-in-love Ramona, my pastor Nathaniel Goodson, my twin, Latarsha, my Prayer Chapel COGIC family, my kids for putting up with their dad during this time, my spartnet and Sister Kelley my “Campaign manager” Rebecca Perry who always “volun-tells” me what to do lol and so many more I’d have to fill up this page! To my board members who helped us get elected-Patrick J McGowan, Michele L McGowan, Cleo SB Goodman, Trina Singleton, Francesca Barley, Mr. Lafferty, I’m forever in your debt! To my Folcroft, Sharon Hill and Collingdale Officials, thank you for believing in us to be change agents.

I look forward to serving the children, parents, administration and community of Southeast Delco for the next four years!!!!

My nephew is the 💩!!!! I remember the lil comedian running around his grandmoms house cutting up-to see the man, father, husband and pro boxer he’s become……Unc is proud of you! Good Morning Everyone!

I wanted to wait until the full results were in before I posted. WE WON!!!! I’m proud to announce I along with my entire running mates were elected as new School Board Directors of the Southeastern Delco School District! I first MUST & HAVE to give all thanks and Praises to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, for keeping me, and thru the word reminding me that ours is a life of service that will be rewarded in heaven. I MUST thank my Ride or Die, my backbone, number 1 supporter and cheerleader, Chrisheena who encourages me everyday that I can and will do whatever God intends for me to do. To my mom Claudia, family and friends (this post would pages) thank you for all your prayers, love, support and encouragement thru this process. To PastorNathaniel Goodson, my spiritual father, thank you for guiding, mentoring and inspiring me to be the man of God that you believe that is in me. And definitely not the least, THANK YOULatarsha Chatman Threadgill, Glister Threadgill Rebecca Perry, Francesca Barley,Patrick J McGowan,Cleo, Trina Singleton, Michele L McGowan, Joe Papaleo, and the entire Southeast Delco Democratic machine that brought about CHANGE!!!

Election eve……I’d be lying if I didn’t admit I was a bit anxious. 8 months of knocking on doors, canvassing, meetings to become a director of the Southeast Delco School Board Director. Now it’s up to the people to decide. Being a parent of a student in the district you want to make sure they’re receiving the best education and resources possible. As a homeowner, you want to make sure your tax dollars are being used wisely and effectively. But most importantly, you want to make sure you’re preparing the next generation of leaders.

As a board member, I’ll commit to always putting the interest of our students, teachers, staff and residents first and foremost. That’s not always easy, but it’s the job I’m signing up for. Now I, along with my running mates, Patrick McGowin, Cleo Bey Goodman & Trina Singleton need your support and vote. So if you live in Sharon Hill, Folcroft, Collingdale or Darby Township and you want to see meaningful change and improvement in Southeast Delco, come out and vote tomorrow!

So yesterday was the First Lady that ever loved me 70th Birthday. She wanted to go to Italy to celebrate this birthday but life was life-en and no trip. So what do we do, we surprise her with a “Touch of Italy” birthday party. To say she was shocked and excited is an understatement! While everyone couldn’t be there, she was overjoyed!
