When They Came for the Hounds

They are coming for us like a raging lion.

When they came for the deer hounds,
I did nothing because I fox hunted.

When they came for the fox hounds,
I did nothing because I rabbit hunted.

When they came for the rabbit dogs,
I did nothing because I c**n hunted.

When they came for the c**nhounds,
I did nothing because I cat hunted.

When they came for the cat hounds,
I did nothing because I squirrel hunted.

When they came for the squirrel dogs,
I did nothing because I hog hunted.

When they came for the hog dogs,
I did nothing because I bear hunted.

When they came for the bear hounds,
I did nothing because I bird hunted.

When they came for the bird dogs,
I did nothing because I didnt hunt with a dog.

When they came for the rest of the hunters,
I did nothing because i was a trapper.

When they came for the trappers,
there was no one left to help me.

Then they came for certain types of weapons

What good does it do to be eaten last by the lion? He is coming for you. We must stand together.

When they had taken all the dogs, I just laughed and laughed because I still hunted. Now they’re coming after me and nobody has my back. I’m alone.
