We had the opportunity to tour ProRodeo Hall of Fame with a docent!

We took a stroll through the Hall of Champions, saw historic saddles and gear, and explored the sculpture garden honoring rodeo legends and learned plenty of rodeo history. A must-visit for any rodeo fan.

*Call in advance to ensure there is a docent available!

Summer Hours:
May – August: open 7 days a week, 9am to 5pm
(Last admission at 4:30pm.)

Winter Hours:
September – April: Wednesday–Sunday, 9am to 5pm
(Closed Monday and Tuesday. Last admission at 4:30pm.)

We just can’t get enough of Cripple Creek lately! The drive up is absolutely stunning, and with the Ice Festival wrapping up this weekend, it’s the perfect time to visit. While we were there, we stopped at Lombard’s Restaurant inside Double Eagle Hotel & Casino and my wife had the Chicken Stir Fry and I had the Coupe de Ville—a large, juicy chicken sandwich that hit the spot. And the onion rings? Crispy perfection!

If you’re heading up, don’t miss out on the festival fun and a great meal!
