Presentation from concealment is key to being able to deliver accurate rounds. Too many times we see new carry methods come out whether it be holsters, bags, purses, etc., and often times we see shooters assuming that one is the same as the next. If you're not practicing with the system you plan to use then it puts you back at square one when you need to use it.
Carrying in the same relative position/method is ideal even between different devices. An appendix draw will be relatively similar between appendix holsters, as well as dominant-side draw methods.
Off-body carry is a whole different animal entirely since it relies on you maintaining positive control of your bag while also understanding the intricacies if the zippers, velcro or other retention systems in place.
Whatever the case, train for deploying your sidearm from different stances and angles using the carry method you choose so you're ready when you need it.
