His band:

Roman Morello - Guitar - 14 years old. Playing a guitar that was previously played by Randy Rhoads. He is the son of Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine and Audioslave.

Revel Ian - Bass - 13 years old. He is the son of Scott Ian of Anthrax and singer Pearl Aday who is the adopted daughter of Marvin Lee Aday aka Meatloaf.

Yoyoka Suma - Drums - 15 years old. She released her first music CD at age six.

Hugo Weiss - Keyboards - 15 years old. Award winning pianist.

The Day The Music Changed The World. The Global Jukebox.

As of Sunday, July 13th, the legendary Live Aid Concerts turn 40!

The concerts were simulcast in London and Philadelphia on July 13th, 1985 via television, for 16 hours of live music including Queen. Led Zeppelin, Judas Priest, The Who and many other 80's musicians.

Nearly 2 billion people watched the most famous concert in history on TV.

A combined total of 160,000 fans were in attendance at two separate venues in Philadelphia and London.

The rock musicians were not paid for their performances.

Live Aid raised over $100 million dollars for famine relief in Ethiopia.

Greatest Hits Radio in the UK will rebroadcast the Live Aid concert on July 13th. Other radio stations around the world will be doing the same; including KBCO in Colorado. You can also find the rebroadcast on the Live Aid Channel on YouTube:

On July 3, 1982, Metallica performed at the Concert Factory in Costa Mesa, showcasing one of their early shows in support of *Kill ’Em All*.
