Feeling a little nostalgic today.

I was gifted this lovely stained glass piece when I was was working for radio station KVRH - from the kind and generous staff at Open Windows in Salida, CO.

Unfortunately, they have since retired and closed their business; but this cherished memento still hangs on the wall in my bedroom. ❤️📻

On Gnarly Metal, it's my great pleasure to proudly play the rock songs from the PMRC's 'Filthy 15' song list! 🤘🤘🤘

40 years ago this week, the infamous Senate hearing on "violent and sexually explicit lyrics" took place.

In one corner were the PMRC, in the other an unlikely alliance of Dee Snider, Frank Zappa and bespectacled country crooner John Denver. The stage was set for a culture clash of epic proportions.
