Outlaw Poet Releasing (OPR) started as an indie label, created by Northstar (http://facebook.com/poetnorthstar), for promotion of his own artistic endeavours. OPR has since grown and now looks to spread the words and music of our up & coming performance artists through video, recording, live-streaming events, and established web-based media. OPR looks to form a network of like minded entities, taking nothing from the artist except what is needed to showcase them to all who will watch & listen. To this end we have created The Outlaw Poet Channel, a channel on livestream.com (http://facebook.com/OutlawPoetChannel OR http://www.livestream.com/outlawpoet), which is also embedded on several pages. This channel broadcasts a minimum of 2 live events each month while providing on-demand footage of past poetry & music events. We have also partnered with LMS Radio Project and are creating bonds with Friction Publishing, Fayetteville ART Attack, and Cinsound Media and Recording Arts among others.
