I started Namiko Editing in 2011, a year after graduating Brigham Young University with a degree in English and an emphasis in editing. I completed two editing internships: one with the Neal A. Maxwell Institute for Religious Scholarship and one with the Western North American Naturalist. My dream was to become a full-time editor; but when that career did not come together as I'd hoped, I discover
ed the world of freelance editing. Since then I've edited books, resumes, papers, websites, online courses, and journal articles. My emphasis is nonfiction and most of my time lately has been spent with scholarly works. And I love that I've been able to continue editing while fulfilling my other full-time roles of wife and now mother.
