As we hurtle into the new year, and prepare for the next edition of First Form Magazine, we'd like to express our mission and vision for the magazine's future:
WinterSun Media Arts First Form Magazine is dedicated to the fine art of photographing the human form for dramatic, pose, light, and theme.
We aspire to become a leading print and electronic platform for presenting the human form as fine art, expertly captured in dramatic, emotive figure and expression.
With that in mind, we are now soliciting submissions for the Winter 2019 Issue of First Form Magazine. The magazine's main theme will (of course) be artful nudes and implieds in the Winter season. Alternative modeling such as heavily tatttooed and goth are most welcome. Non- or unprofessional images and selfies will not be considered. Submit six to eight small-size images to [email protected] and mention that the submission is for First Form Magazine. Alternately, you can upload your images to Dropbox, and send the link to the email address. Submitted sets should contain a variety of poses, expression, and light. Sets that only contain a minor, subtle change in pose and expression probably won't be considered for publication.
If your images are selected, you will be contacted to complete a license agreement, provide additional information as needed, and full-size images for publication. The image owner (whoever holds the copyright) will receive a small license fee and, if circulation goals are exceeded, royalty payments.
