This project came to life because of the power of connection. Members of the CFA were able to bring together the right people and resources, securing donated materials and volunteers that made this possible. Thanks to this community, partnerships like this are easy to find.

Proud of the connections made with this incredible organization!!

It’s a great day at Founders Park! ⚾️ 💜

We’re incredibly proud to cheer on South Carolina Gamecocks pitcher Jake McCoy, who has brought powerful visibility to the Purple Heart Homes mission through his Strikeouts for Veterans campaign.

Today, our CEO John Gallina is joining Jake and our PR Manager Dylan Sutton at the ballpark, where John will throw out the honorary first pitch before the 4PM game against Tennessee.

Jake is currently at 48 strikeouts for the season, and thanks to his commitment - and the generosity of his fans and supporters - we’ve already raised over $7,000 to support safe, accessible housing for service-connected disabled Veterans.
