Today’s Thursday opener is the hottest kickoff for a weekday Mizzou football game in at least 10 years! The Tigers have played on a weekday nine times since 2015; five of those were season openers in late August or early September. The hottest Thursday opener Mizzou has played so far was in 2024, when the Tigers took on Murray state (and won 51-0) with a kickoff temperature of 87 degrees. Tonight’s forecast in the low 90s will easily clear that goal 🏈
