🤍 THE JOURNEY CONTINUES 🤍
Officially navigating the path to produce music that represents my perspective of this life.
I am starting this experience by learning music theory and how to use Ableton to create sounds. I’m super excited for this process.
I have tossed around the idea of music production since I began DJing a few years ago. The timing just never felt right. I needed time to understand how other artists expressed themselves through their music. My ears began the transition from passive to active listening. I began noticing layers of sounds, mood, melodies, and the flow of energy throughout a song. In doing so, it helped inspire the kind of energy I want to share through music.
I am inspired by nature and organic sounds, drums, bass, grooves and rhythms, marching bands, vocals, synths, and human emotion and spirituality. Not sure what styles or genres these influences will lead me toward, but I’m gonna figure it out. Or make my own I guess 😂
