A final reminder about tomorrow’s potato drop! Several food-security organizations in Columbia have shared the flyers so I expect it will be busy. I’ll be out of town but sure wish I could witness it!

Columbia locals!!! There will be FREE potatoes this Saturday, November 18 in at the Woodfield Park Baptist/New Creation Baptist Church (1834 Morninglo Lane)! The giveaway starts at 12 PM and all are welcome. Please bring your own box/bag for pickup.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 18 beginning at Noon: We’re a week away from this HUGE potato drop! I’ve heard that we may see some white potatoes too so stay tuned. We may end up with more potato recipes than Bubba Gump has for shrimp! 🍠🥔

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 12 - 2 to 4 pm at Serve & Connect's new headquarters at 8131 Brookfield Road. Volunteers from Forest Lake Presbyterian Church and the Decker Collective Leadership Council will pack holiday boxes of Greg's Groceries with Richland County Sheriff's Department employees prior to the Bountiful Harvest community event and box distribution (while supplies last). Each box of non perishable food will feed a family of four for a week. You do not need to pre-qualify.
