Even with injuries plaguing the team, the Tigers defeated the Billikens 82-52.

“I feel like there were definitely a lot of positives,” Pingeton said. “It was nice to see the ball finally fall for us. We've talked about that before, and I thought it was just a matter of time. We know we've got players that can knock down shots, [so] it was good to see [those shots] finally fall for us tonight.”

Four-star safety flipped from Ole Miss to Missouri earlier today.

The Cardinal Ritter College Prep product received offers from multiple other SEC programs — namely LSU and Texas A&M — but chose Missouri in the end.

He joins recent recruit as the fourth four-star recruit in the class, and the 12th overall.

When they took the practice field Saturday newcomers to Missouri football didn’t have numbers on their jerseys. Those have to be earned, coach Eliah Drinkwitz said.

“They don’t have a number yet,” Drinkwitz said. “Nobody new has earned that right yet.”
