Your annoying quirks and oddities should be embarrassed , not avoided.

"Valuable" content is dead. Our feeds are gushing with the same crap.

"5 Ways to Get More Leads in 2025” or “How to 10x Your Sales Overnight.”

(Sort of like this one you're reading now... but I'm getting away from this too).

Moving forward, the ket to standing out is simple. Lean into you.

Your quirks, your weirdness, your personality. CEOs, founders, marketers: people connect with humans, not keywords, or researched insights.

Share your stories, your outside-the-office passions, and the real stuff that makes you you.

AI is everywhere now. Heck, ChatGPT is my beast friend. But soon, we’ll be seeing AI influencers that look and sound just like us. The only way to stand out is to bring your real self out in the open, scary as it may be.

For 2025, I’m trying some different approaches myself while I wean myself off this drivel.

These Ai tools are revolutionizing video marketing.

These Ai tools are revolutionizing video marketing.

1. Gling.ai
I use this tool daily. It's as close to having a human being rough cut videos for me that I've seen. It's fast, it's cheap, and it never sleeps.

3. Runwayml.com
Runway is insane. It's known for it's incredible text to video tools which are crazy, but it has SO MANY OTHER TOOLS. The one I use most is the green screen tool. It will remove backgrounds from your video, any video, and it does really, really well.

3. DESCRIPT
I don't use this daily, but it's filled with useful Ai tools, like the ability to have someones eyes fixed on the camera, even if they weren't. Or captions in any language, automatically.

4. Adobe Premiere
This is my workhorse daily editor, but adobe has integrated Ai into all of it's tools incredibly well, including Premiere. If you use Premiere, be sure to use the Beta version to see all the crazy tools.

This is one of Amazons most successful video ads...

//Why: It blends perfect humor, a clear and clever story, and multiple hooks throughout to keep your attention.

//Breakdown: The opening shot first grabs your attention by letting us know the tone (playful/fun/funny), and setting up a clever story.

This was a Superbowl ad, so they had the most captive audience you can get, but they still nail the first 5 seconds to hook us. But, the hooks continue.

The first hook worked to grab our initial attention, the second hook (which happens around the 8sec mark) works to keep us watching.

The ad re-engages us with humor, celebrity appearances, and clever scenarios throughout. Videos should also use multiple hooks—text, visuals, or music—to give viewers a reason to keep watching.

Videos work best when they connect emotionally. This ad leans hard into humor, which is POWERFUL when does well (which is really hard).

Last thing, the ad integrates Alexa’s branding brilliantly. You can see the glowing blue circle throughout the ad. Content should always reinforce your brands identity. even if it just hints at it.

We're So Long Saturn, the production company behind a video shoot for an upcoming commercial/promotional video for a Dolly Parton non-profit.

We're currently casting for 8 different roles for this project. Please submit head shots to be considered. If you're selected for the next step, we'll ask for a video audition and provide additional information.

The shoot date has yet to be confirmed, but will likely take place in late January 2022.

We're seeking 8 roles:
- 2 yr old girl or boy
- 4 yr old girl or boy
- 6-10 yr old girl or boy
- 8-12 yr old girl or boy
- Late 20s/Early 30s Man or Woman OR grandparent (early 60s)
- Early/Mid 30s Man or Woman
- 30s or 40s something adult female
- 20s, 30s or 40s something adult male

This shoot requires no on-screen dialog, so little to no (acting) experience is required. We're focused on getting the right look more than performance at this stage in the process. Scripted dialog is required however for the 4 kid roles; these scripted lines will be recorded with audio only, (no on camera lines will be needed).

We're looking for broad diversity so if you're interested, please feel free to submit!

This shoot is for a non-profit, so casting fee's are on the low end, and will be based on experience. The exposure and experience however is quite high. This is the perfect project for those looking to build experience and gain exposure.
