Sweet Shoegaze Babies, it’s that time of year again! Aspirin Age Five (a shoegaze compilation) goes live for pre-order tonight with a full release dropping October 13th for Cassette Week.

This monster comp packs 47 killer shoegaze + dream pop bands into one dreamy, wall-of-sound experience 🖤

We’re dropping it as a 77-minute cassette — only 50 ultra-limited copies, plus an unlimited digital release. A handful of tapes will hit select record shops (we’ll spill the list soon).

Huge love to all the bands who made this possible. You’re the heartbeat of this scene that celebrates itself and we love you. 🖤

From dark and heavy to sheer and shimmery, Nicole has an admirable knack for putting together a monthly must-hear for fans and creators in and around the shoegaze genre. With roots in community radio in the US, Nicole and Aspirin Age represent the best of what can sprout from independent community-centric people and initiatives over time.

Sweet Shoegaze babies- It’s that time of year again, we’re now accepting submissions for Aspirin Age Five (a shoegaze compilation) for Cassette Week, which takes place in the second week of October. This marks our fifth year, and we couldn’t be more stoked! Previous editions have featured some heavyweights from the shoegaze scene, including Lilys, Whitelands, The Veldt, Magic Shoppe, Dead Leaf Echo, Tennis System, Hundredth, Cathedral Bells, Ci******es for Breakfast, Heaven, and more. We’re on the hunt for unreleased tracks from shoegaze bands. While we’ll gladly accept previously released songs, unreleased tracks will take priority! And yes, previous contributors are welcome to submit again 🖤
