Today marks three years at ABC 17 News KMIZ and three years since starting my career as a journalist…what a journey it’s been!

From starting as a morning reporter to now anchoring weekday mornings, this career has pushed me in ways I never could have imagined. I’ve stepped outside my comfort zone, told stories that have stayed with me and grown not just as a journalist, but as a person. Moving from New York to Missouri was a leap of faith, but one I will never regret.

To Mid-Missouri, thank you for welcoming me into your homes in the morning and for supporting the ABC 17 News team. It truly means the world to me and I will continue to do all I can to deliver you all the most accurate, important and impactful information.

To my family, friends and boyfriend on the East Coast, your support means everything to me and I wouldn’t be where I am today without it. I love you all more than I could ever describe with words.

And to think... this is all just the beginning!
