Went down to the M3 Rock Festival for a Rock n Roll Weekend... and Rock N Roll weekend it was!! In all seriousness, the BEST music festival I’ve ever had the pleasure of attending. Eric, the promoter says, “treat people how you’d want to be treated...” and that he did! We had an All Access Pass to everything.
Mitch Lafon is THE FACE of rock in the media, every band knew him. It was amazing! Almost every band invited us into their dressing rooms to hang, offered us drinks, got to watch from side stage! People always ask me how they can get opportunities like these and I always say, and Mitch proves it, being a nice person goes a long way. Thanks so much buddy for making it happen this weekend!!
Talk about a fan experience! The venue was excellent, sound was perfect, the food was great! The promoter set up a free acoustic performance in the hotel after the show on Saturday! All the bands hung out with fans till 3-4-5am in the hotel lobby bar! I mean, it was just a proper party!!
I will be coming back every year going forward! Certain Montreal festivals could learn a thing or two on how to treat their media guests... cause honestly, I’ve never been treated so well anywhere else! They truly made me feel special, like I was a part of something incredible, not like someone was doing me a favour. I’ll never forget it!
