The Albert Einstein Memorial

📍 Located at: 2101 Constitution Ave NW (outside the National Academy of Sciences)

👉 This is a large bronze statue of Einstein, tucked away in a grove of trees just off the National Mall — across the street from the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
👉 It’s interactive — you can climb on it, sit in Einstein’s lap, and stand in the center of the star map at its base.
👉 It’s a quiet, contemplative spot perfect for photos or a break from the crowds.
👉 The surrounding garden is peaceful, and it’s a favorite for locals who know where to look.

Pro tip: Visit early morning or around sunset for the best light and fewest people.
