UPDATE:

99.3 was off the air for a good part of today due to a physical cut to our internet cable at the Barringer Building.

We believe we have now resolved the poor audio quality and dropouts and skipping.

99.1 Ballentine and 98.1 Pontiac/Sandhills were unaffected.

Streaming is also working.

🆘 Food Needed 🆘

We've had a huge influx of puppies + emaciated dogs into our rescue. Our pups AND sick and underweight dogs are fed wet puppy food and eggs daily. Our food stash is struggling to keep up with the extra mouths and special diets.

We are in dire need of:
🥫 wet puppy food (We use 100+ cans per day!)
🍳 eggs (We use 40-60 per day!)

If you can help by donating eggs or wet puppy food, we'd be incredibly grateful. Every single egg and can is helpful!

Most of our puppies do great on Purina One, but we'll gladly accept any brand, even open cases your dogs no longer need.

Sometimes, here at WXRY, we forget how much the station has been part of people's lives. It's on (well, unless there's a tech issue) and there 24/7 a day for the past 20 years. Then, someone will call or email to say they graduated and moved to another city and listen in online to stay in touch with what is going on in town. If that you, thank you. As a non-profit station, we rely on you as much for financial suportas you rely on us.

Our Summer Funddrive is under way right now. Our goal is $10,000 which will not only keep the lights on and the music playing, but also start saving for the newer, more efficient transmitter we'll need in a the next year.
