Please be mindful of certain men from Africa, particularly from Ghana and Nigeria, who search the internet seeking companionship with hidden motives. Many of them are looking for financial gain, hoping that you will fund their way to America—even though they are often already married with children. They may subtly ask you for money or other support.
Some of them present themselves as Christian pastors, but their actions do not reflect true kingdom values. Instead, they often elevate their cultural traditions above the principles of Christ. Sadly, their interest is not in genuinely following Jesus but in deceiving others for personal benefit.
These individuals often target older women, assuming they are lonely or desperate. But the truth is, they are living a lie. Don’t fall for their schemes.
This type of deceptive behavior is one reason why the current administration has placed travel restrictions on certain African countries—because of the rise in these romantic scams that manipulate and exploit others.
