Pine Siskin or juvenile Goldfinch?
At first glance on your feeders they may look similar but with further investigation, you'll notice the differences between these two birds.
The major difference is in the body of the birds. Pine Siskins are heavily streaked on their head and body whereas a goldfinch has no streaking. Goldfinches also have a shorter and stout beak. The pine siskins' beak is thinner and more sharply pointed. Both are frequent visitors of Nyjer® and sunflower chip feeders. In this picture they are eating from one of our Quick Clean Finch Feeders with some Nyjer® seed in it.
