Don't lose your empathy. It's easy to become numb to all the violence, the dysfunction that's being purposely shoved down our throat. Yes, there's white on white crime, Hispanic on Hispanic etc, but is it being heavily monetized through likes, shares, clickbait, music, etc like in the black community?

Don't feed off of visual swine. Each sense sends information to the brain to help us understand and perceive the world. If all we see is our community in disarray, how will that shape our brain into perceiving the black community? Our trailblazing community. Don't digest that. Don't become immune to that.

Don't lose your empathy. We've got to feel one another in order to jumpstart truly wanting to support one another.

Challenge yourself to be 1% everyday. Read one extra page, do one extra pushup, shucks drink one extra bottle of water. Whatever it may be, in whatever aspect challenge yourself to be 1% better. Build yourself into someone you'll be proud of 💯

We're reminded far too often it's many seen and unseen forces against us. We need justice, we deserve justice. That could've been your mother, aunt, sister, grandmother, daughter. Lets not become desensitized to the evils of this world. Let's continue to grow as a community, as a family, as a people where the evils will no longer feel entitled to executing us; physically and systematically. Together we stand, divided we fall. Don't let Sonya Massey and the many others death be in vain. Change begins with us family.

No matter how hard you try you'll never be the good guy/gal in everyone's eyes. Your people will recognize being. Your gift/purpose. Your people won't require or expect perfection from you. Just authencity. Being true to yourself, flaws and all. And being true to your calling.
