We are the University of Missouri chapter of the national collegiate organization, NACT (National Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow).

Mizzou ACLT focuses on:
Agvocacy
Community Service
Industry Speakers and Forums
Social Gatherings
Networking
Participation in National ACT Writing Critique Contest

Agricultural Communicators and Leaders of Tomorrow (ACLT) is a club for agricultural journalism majors and other students interested in communications. Guest speakers include newspaper and magazine reporters and editors, radio and TV b

roadcasters and agricultural public relations executives. Students can become acquainted with professionals in the field while learning about career options. Other activities include barbecues and social functions throughout the year. Members have the opportunity to attend professional meetings and interact with Ag communications students from surrounding universities.

Hi guys, my name is Sally Schmidt and I am the ACT Secretary. My major is Agriculture Education and Leadership: Communications and I’m currently a sophmore. I grew up in a small town called Carrollton, Mo. When I’m not running from class to class or working at Tiger Garden, you can find me either painting, playing with my dog, working on the farm, or hanging with friends and family.

Kaylee Lower, Vice-President

Hi there! I’m Kaylee Lower, an Agricultural Education - Teacher Certification major from Weaubleau, Missouri. Growing up the daughter of a veterinarian and farmer, the agricultural industry has strong roots and significance. My love for agricultural communications, CAFNR, and Mizzou runs deep. In my free time, you can catch me on the family farm, spending time with friends, and eating Mexican food.

Hi! I’m Kylie Johnson, and I’m an Agricultural Education - Leadership and Communications major. I’m from Neodesha, KS, where I have a family of 4 siblings and my parents that I value above all else. When I’m not in class or at work, you can find me sipping sweet tea and reading a book outside. I also love journaling, traveling, exploring the outdoors, and taking pictures.
