AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF OUR COMMUNITY HAS MYSTERIOUSLY LOST HER LIFE UNEXPECTEDLY AND THERE ARE ZERO REPORTS FROM LAW ENFORCEMENT OR ANY LOCAL NEWS STATIONS!!

On December 26, 2024, 38 year old, Larissa Jordan went to the Hollywood Casino with her husband around 3pm.

She was found in the parking lot, in her white Dodge Journey suv around 11pm when her husband came out of the casino.

The only information the family received from Police was she had passed from Carbon Monoxide Poisoning. The detective who spoke to the Jordan family said the odor was so strong that officers did not want to approach the vehicle.

Larissa was a devoted wife, mother, and community member with a passionate dedication to helping others. Her unexpected passing has left her family searching for answers. If you were in or around the Hollywood Casino parking lot on December 26th between 3pm and 11pm and saw anything unusual, or if you have any information that could help shed light on what happened, please reach out to us!

Larissa's Dodge Journey was white and had driver side rear bumper damage and a mirror missing on the passenger side. December 26th was the first time she drove the vehicle after purchase.

We urge anyone with information to contact local authorities, or feel free to contact us if you believe you might have seen something. Your help could make all the difference!

Let’s work together to bring clarity and justice for Larissa and her family. Please share this post to help spread the word.

🚨⚠️☣️
One person was injured after a semitruck and tanker truck crashed, leading to a hazmat situation on U.S. Route 23 near London Groveport Road.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, US-23 is closed between Interstate 270 and state Route 665. London Groveport Road is also closed between Hibbs Road and Parsons Avenue.

These closures are expected to last through rush hour traffic.

First responders were called to the scene around 12:45 p.m. The Ohio Department of Transportation, the Columbus Division of Police, the Pickaway County Sheriff's Office and Ohio State Highway Patrol are at the scene to assist with the closures.

Deputies said the semitruck hit a tanker truck carrying Acrylamide 50, a chemical that has serious health risks if inhaled, swallowed, or contacted by skin.

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office said there is no leak. The chemical is contained but needs to be offloaded before the tanker can be moved. The Columbus Division of Fire and Ohio Environmental Protection Agency are on the scene investigating the hazmat situation.

The person was taken to a hospital, and their condition is described as stable.

On Thursday, various services nationwide, including U.S. Postal Service mail delivery will be paused in honor of the National Day of Mourning established for former President Jimmy Carter.

The USPS notes on its website that all post offices will be closed and regular mail will not be delivered. There will, however, be “limited package delivery service” on Jan. 9. Customers can expect services to return to normal starting Friday.

Thursday’s National Day of Mourning is meant to give people space to pay their respects to Carter, the longest-living American president. Per federal law, President Joe Biden previously declared the day a National Day of Mourning.

“I do further appoint January 9, 2025, as a National Day of Mourning throughout the United States,” Biden said in his Dec. 29 proclamation. “I call on the American people to assemble on that day in their respective places of worship, there to pay homage to the memory of President James Earl Carter, Jr. I invite the people of the world who share our grief to join us in this solemn observance.”

Carter’s funeral will be held on the same day at Washington National Cathedral. Viewers can watch a broadcast of the service starting at 10 a.m. on NBC4.

⚠️ATTENTION STANLEY CUP OWNERS!⚠️
(THE COFFEE MUGS NOT THE HOCKEY)

Stanley has issued a significant recall involving more than 2 million mugs.

According to the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission, Stanley is recalling about 2.6 million Switchback and Trigger Action travel mugs due to a burn hazard.

The CPSC says heat exposure and torque can cause the threads of the mug lid to shrink, causing it to detach while in use. The affected mugs were sold from June 2016 through December 2024 in stores and online by such retailers as Amazon, Walmart, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Target.

So far, there have been 91 reports worldwide of lids detaching, resulting in 38 burns, with 11 needing medical attention. The stainless steel travel mugs were sold in a variety of colors, including white, black, and green, in 12-, 16- and 20-ounce sizes with a polypropylene lid.

Anyone with these travel mugs should immediately stop using them and contact Stanley for a free replacement lid.

Stanley can be contacted toll-free at 866-792-5445 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday or online at www.Stanley1913TMrecall.expertinquiry.com. Customers can also visit the Stanley website and click on the corresponding link to submit a recall claim or obtain more information.
