🚗✨ Group trip, zero decisions made. Everyone deep in their phones scrolling for "the perfect spot" until one brave soul just said "screw it" and picked. Landed at Ricky's Steak and Buffet — and honestly? Decent vibes. 🍽️ Sunday comfort food energy on a random weekday? Never mad at it.

Good morning!! Please Please Read! I know it maybe long!

He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him." (John 1:11)

My husband and I were having one of our deep conversations recently, and he asked something that stuck with me: why don't people receive others sometimes — is it the tone, the delivery, or just because of who is saying it? He wondered out loud, "I wonder if people even understand sometimes."

As he spoke, John 1:11 rose up in my spirit. Then I heard the Lord speak plainly: How can they receive what they don't even try to understand?

He reminded me — they couldn't receive Him when He walked the earth, not because the evidence wasn't there, but because they refused to understand who He truly was. They saw the miracles. They heard the words of life. And still, many hardened their hearts rather than open their understanding.

That's the pattern, even now. People don't always reject the message — sometimes they reject it because they never tried to understand the messenger. The tone gets blamed. The familiarity gets in the way. "It's just you" becomes the excuse not to receive what's actually being offered.

Be encouraged: if Jesus — full of truth, full of love, full of undeniable proof — was still met with unbelief, you are in good company when you're misunderstood or dismissed. It doesn't mean the word in you was wrong. It doesn't mean you delivered it poorly. It may simply mean the hearer stopped short of understanding.

Keep speaking. Keep walking in truth, even when it's not received the way you hoped. Understanding is not your job to force — it's theirs to pursue. And those who do press past the surface to truly understand will receive not just your words, but the life behind them.

Good morning:

There's a quiet dignity in doing the small thing well specifically because no one's watching.
Right now, I'm looking at a table that needs cleaning. I don't feel like it — no urgency, no one checking, no applause waiting. It would be easy to leave it. But I'm doing it anyway.
That's what Colossians 3:23 is for: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men." Not just the big, visible moments — the small, unwitnessed ones too. Working "as for the Lord" means I'm not doing this to impress anyone. Faithfulness isn't reserved for the big stuff — it's built in the ordinary decisions nobody sees.
So today, faithfulness looks like a clean table. Small task. No audience. Still doing it right.
Didn't feel like cleaning this table today. Doing it anyway. Small acts of faithfulness still count. 🧹✨ Colossians 3:23

The way the Lord is about to bless you! Yes you 🫵🏾! You can’t even imagine it!

When you feel like you have nothing left — that's not a sign you've failed. It's often exactly where God meets people most.
Paul knew this. He asked God three times to take away his weakness. And the answer wasn't "here's your strength back." It was: "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."

I took a sip of water from my Chick-fil-A cup and noticed the words on the back: "Sip-smiling away." It made me smile — but it also reminded me of something deeper.

Scripture talks about a different kind of refreshment:

"Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life." — John 4:14

A cup of water can bring a small smile for a moment. But the refreshment He offers doesn't run out — it becomes a spring welling up inside us, sustaining us far beyond a sip. Sometimes He meets us in the smallest, simplest things — a cup, a word, a smile — to remind us He's near. 🙏
