I have been super excited to try again in beeswax ever since started sharing content using it. This one worked so well!

One of my favorite memories from college was playing through The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and shooting the s**t with one of the best people I know.

This cocktail is a great homage to that!

The Hyrule Bouquet (10 servings)

- 375 ml Cognac (VSOP)
- 150 ml Blanc Vermouth ( )
- 120 ml St-Germain ( )
- 7.5 ml rose water
- 20 dash lavender bitters

Aged at least 10 days in a beeswax lined bottle

Stir with ice and serve over a king cube and a dried flower bud

Cognac, elderflower, and just enough rose and lavender to make it bloom. Aged in a beeswax-lined bottle for a week to pull in that soft, honeyed texture. Stirred over a king cube and finished with a dried rosebud.

Named for Princess Zelda. A quiet kind of power. Floral but grounded. Elegant, but never soft.

An Old Fashioned with a twist—The Ned Ryerson by Devon Tarby ( ) swaps out the usual sugar for gum syrup, bringing a rich, silky texture to the mix of rye and apple brandy.

Bitters with sassafras, anise, and orange pull everything together for a smooth, complex sip. Classic, but with a little extra character.
1.5 oz rye5 oz apple brandy
1 tsp gum syrup
1 dash sassafras bitters
1 dash absinthe
1 dash orange bitters

Garnish with lemon twist

“Let’s talk about an underrated classic: The Algonquin. This one’s easy, refreshing, and perfect for when you want to mix things up without a ton of effort.

Here’s the play-by-play (swipe for the steps):
🍍 1.5 oz rye whiskey
🍍 0.75 oz dry vermouth
🍍 0.75 oz fresh pineapple juice

Stir it all with ice, strain into a chilled glass, and boom—you’ve got yourself a cocktail with just the right balance of spice, sweetness, and a little tropical vibe. Recipe credit goes to the legendary PDT Cocktail Book.

Seriously, this one’s too good to keep to yourself. Send this to your friends and let them know you’re making this at the next hangout. Or better yet, send this post to that friend who always claims they can’t make good drinks at home—no excuses with this one.

Who’s trying this tonight? Let me know if you’re team rye or if you’ve got your own twist on it!”

Can it Old Fashioned? ABSOLUTELY.

Lately, I’ve been diving deep into the world of agave spirits after discovering some incredible tequilas over the holidays. This cocktail hit exactly the spot.

2025 is here so to kick off the new year I wanted to do a little introduction!

Welcome, I’m Noah. By day I am a high school political science teacher, and by night I take pictures of great drinks!

From 2009 - 2019 I spent most of my free time coaching football, till I hit the burnout wall. My wife and I went to Disney for Christmas that year and I made the decision to walk away from coaching to recharge.

It didn’t take long for me to start going stir crazy and I needed an outlet for that energy, enter cocktails. I’d always loved cooking and cocktails seemed like a natural extension of that hobby, and thanks to the pandemic, I had developed a taste for spirits.

I started out just using my phone and recreating drinks I saw on YouTube. I was working with a limited bar made up of local brands I could afford. After a few months of posting and tagging, and consuming every YouTube tutorial I could find, I made the investment in a beginners camera.

I was lucky enough to get connected to a group of amazing creators who helped me develop and were quick to answer any question I had. Truly I would have probably given up had it not been for their help and insights.

As my page started to grow, I started to get traction and made connections with those local brands I had been a fan of. This lead to some great early experiences. I ended up crafting the signature cocktails for my brother’s wedding, got to see behind the scenes at one of my favorite local distilleries, and started to expand my skill set both with the camera and the shaker tins.

Once I made the jump to off camera flash, the game changed and it opened up a ton of creative doors. My shots have become messy and incredibly fun to shoot.

I started dabbling in street photography and recently been leaning into the video production.

So that’s me. I’m glad you’re here. Hope you like what you see.
