The Former Chief Executive Officer of the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC), Sedina Tamakloe-Attionu, has reportedly been detained at the Nevada Southern Detention Centre in the United States.

In a statement issued by the Ghanaian ambassador to the US, H.E Victor Emmanuel Smith, he confirmed that the former MASLOC boss had been arrested by US marshals and is currently awaiting an extradition hearing.

The Ghana Police Service has recovered the Toyota Highlander vehicle used in the notorious Adabraka Gold Jewellery Shop robbery that took place in November 2024.

The vehicle was retrieved at Ashaiman Lebanon from its owner, Abdul Samid Larry, also known as "Touch," a suspect in the case on 15th January 2026.
