I spent years trying to get pregnant. Month after month, heartbreak. Meanwhile, my husband Jason already had a kid with his ex, Olivia — which only made it worse. I felt broken feeling like it was my fault.
A friend told me about a new fertility clinic, so I went alone, not wanting to get Jason's hopes up.
After my appointment, I walked into the lobby… and froze.
Jason was there. With Olivia. And she was very pregnant, heavily pregnant.
Then he hugged her and I heard him whisper: "She can't find out. Promise me that we'll do this. Same time next week?"
Olivia nodded and smiled, gently rubbing her round belly.
I thought I was going to throw up right there in that waiting room.
So, the following week I decided to catch them red-handed. I remembered the time from their whispered conversation. So I went to the clinic early and sat in my car in the parking lot, waiting.
Sure enough, at exactly 3:30 p.m., Jason's car pulled up.
Olivia was already there, waiting by the entrance.
I watched them walk in together, and then I followed right behind them.

When my sister Danielle (30F) got engaged, she begged my son Adrian (17) to design her wedding dress. He's been sewing since he was 12 — he's just passionate and talented.
"We want it to feel personal," she said sweetly. "You're so good at this stuff. It would mean everything. You'll sit right in the front row!"
Adrian agreed, and I paid for the fabric. He worked for months — 40+ sketches, constant redesigns. Danielle nitpicked nonstop:
"Why is the skirt so poofy?"
"Didn't I say more lace?"
"This neckline makes me look wide!"
Still, the dress turned out stunning. Our mom cried. We were proud.
Then last week, Adrian told me he hadn't gotten a wedding invite. I asked Danielle — her reply?
"Oh, right! No kids. NO exceptions."
I was stunned. Adrian is 17 — not a toddler — and he MADE her dress.
"He'll understand. He's not a little boy," she snapped.
EXACTLY, HE'S NOT. So, he didn't get. He was speechless and couldn't understand, why she promised him and then, broke it. Me too. So I told her she wasn't wearing the dress.
"WHAT?! The wedding’s in FIVE days!" she screamed.
"You don't get to use someone and then toss them aside."
"It was a gift!"
"I paid for it. And he made it. You treated him like garbage — now wear something else."
She continued screaming, so I set the very last condition. ⬇️

When I married her eldest son, my MIL wore a bridal white lace dress and clung to him like she was the bride. I let it slide.
But at my BIL’s wedding last weekend, I warned the new bride. “She might do the dress thing again.”
“Oh please,” she laughed. “She promised not to.”
And MIL? She wore the same white dress — red sash, heels, glam, the whole dramatic bridal look — again.
She latched onto the groom all day like an accessory, hijacking photos, acting like she was the one walking down the aisle.
Then during the photoshoot, the photographer said,
“Okay, just the bride and groom now.”
MIL began stepping toward her son... smugly.
I thought no one would be able to put her in her place — until the photographer made everyone go dead silent when he addressed my MIL. ⬇️
