Have you ever cut into a watermelon and were surprised to find it was yellow inside instead of red? These two varieties may look the same on the outside, but yellow watermelon is a sweeter, honey-like twist on the classic summer fruit, and it's packed with beta-carotene for an extra nutrient boost!

Pro tip: if you want to enhance the flavor of your watermelon, add a sprinkle of salt on top!

Our partnership with Twin Oaks Dairy Farm is just one way we're limiting our food waste. Twin Oaks, located in central Ohio, accepts our non-edible product scraps like pineapple crowns, onion skins, and watermelon rinds as feed for their livestock. In return, we get to divert food scraps from landfills! In 2024 alone, we've successfully recycled over 375 tons (that's 826,733 pounds!) of produce scraps!
