The 2025 1A-6A West Regional cross country meets will be held at Tryon International Equestrian Center. Polk County teams got a look at the course Wednesday, competing with other teams from around the area and getting a pair of top-three finishes from Liam Jackson and Amberina Jenne.

What a way to celebrate! Polk County honored lone senior Cate Brown with a perfect send-off, sweeping Avery 8-0 on Senior Day. Brown dominated in singles and doubles to lead the Wolverines to victory.
