The Columbus Lions will be back home at the Civic Center on Sunday, May 17th to battle the Peach State Cats on Faith and Family Day! Kickoff will be at 4:00pm, so bring your family and friends, and your church group for a special day at the Civic Center.

The halftime show will feature artist Le' Andria Johnson, bringing her power, soul and ministry to the field.

A Flash Flood WARNING has been issued for northern Muscogee County and southern Harris County until 8:00AM EDT. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

RADAR UPDATE: A strong thunderstorm is moving through Phenix City and Columbus area right now with quite a bit of dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning, so it's going to be loud for a bit with some heavy rain. We'll continue to see the activity decrease, then increase over the next several hours as more storms continue to move across Alabama into Georgia. The good news is, other than a Flash Flood Warning for parts of east central Alabama, there are no severe weather warnings out at the moment.
