It is my sincere pleasure to share with all of you that Shopping for Superman has been officially selected to appear at this year's San Diego Comic Con International Film Festival.

The official screening day has yet to be solidified but this is one of those incredible moments for me and the team. There are no shortage of prestigious film festivals that we submitted to with a vague hope of acceptance but Comic Con was at the top of my list.

This is a film I want to share with the world but it is an absolute honor and now a privilege to share it with an audience that I sincerely hope will love it as much as I do.

I just learned that Shopping For Superman has won Best Documentary at the LA Film Fest.

It's hard to put into words how amazing this feels and how excited I am for audiences to check it out on Sunday May 18th at 12pm at LA Live.

Tickets just went on sale so if you're in LA or LA-bound for that weekend, come and check us out.

Couldn't have said it better myself ;)

Apart from the honor and pleasure of making a film about comic book shops there is an honor and a pleasure that comes with working with some of the best crew in the industry. Lamps Lampadinha is a shining example of that joy.

Lamps agreed, MONTHS ago, to jump on board and help make our sound sizzle, pop, and also not those things if they were actually caused by interference. He's taken years of audio from various mics and various ways of capture and made it sound seamless and amazing with a kind of turn around speed that has to be experienced to believed.

We're in our final round of review and should be getting notes back to him today for one last pass. Even though we promised to have everything by September, he didn't hold that against us when we came back in November (all apologies) ready for his magic.

It sounds incredible. This has been a learning process for me and I've been insanely lucky to have such pros help both me and the film along.
