Recently, our chapter gathered for our annual retreat with the theme “Falling Into Sisterhood.” It was a day filled with learning, bonding, and preparation as we continue to strengthen our sisterhood and service.

We ended the day renewed, inspired, and truly reminded of what it means to “fall into sisterhood.”

Today is National Voter Registration Day! 🗳️ With 100,000+ elections nationwide happening this year, every eligible voice has even more power.

Did you know in Georgia in August 2025, about 471,000 inactive voter registrations were canceled through routine maintenance. Many were people who had moved or hadn’t contacted election officials for years.

✅ What you can do:
* Make sure you are registered and your information is up to date.
* If you’ve moved or changed names, update your voter records.
* Remind friends, sisters, and neighbors to check their status.

Let’s make sure that none of us gets left out. 💪🏾

Gamma Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® celebrates the extraordinary life and legacy of Pearl member Juanita Carson Booker, a devoted member for over 73 years. Her unwavering commitment to sisterhood and service is an inspiration to us all.

Juanita Booker was a true trailblazer. As an educator and community leader, she dedicated her career to shaping the lives of young people. Her love for community was also reflected in her active involvement in numerous civic and social organizations, always working to enrich the lives of those around her.

Her journey embodies the very essence of Alpha Kappa Alpha: sisterhood, scholarship, and service to all mankind. We are deeply grateful for her wisdom, leadership, and example. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy will forever guide and inspire Gamma Tau Omega Chapter and the countless lives she touched.

💗💚 This year’s Annual Pink & Green Breakfast was filled with sisterhood, fellowship, and purpose! Attendees, dressed in white, enjoyed a delicious breakfast and connected through a fun Get to Know You bingo game.

We are especially proud to share that our Silent Auction was a success — raising funds to support scholarships for deserving students.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to such a meaningful morning!
