Avenged Sevenfold singer M. Shadows revealed in a video on the band’s page that he has a hematoma on his left vocal cord/fold.

Because of this, the band will need to postpone their Latin America tour that was supposed to kick off this week.

It’s the same injury Shadows had in 2017, that he pushed through, only to make things worse and resulting in surgery, so resting his voice is definitely the right move here in order to not cause any more damage.

The band hopes to return early next year.
