Why does it always feel like Labor Day is the end of summer 🥺 right after this weekend, the nights start to get cooler, boats get pulled out, pools close down, leaves fall and the colors start to change.

When one season ends another begins. It’s time for football, bonfires, hoodies and pants. Not all bad I suppose. But it’s not goodbye, it will come again and we’ll be ready for the hot weather to return, for days just like this.

So my wife said she needs a new pillow because she’s waking up with neck pain, I ordered her this one for her birthday cause she said she likes a firm pillow, the lady in the photo was laying all the way on it so it looked pretty firm. But she’s not happy with it and I don’t understand why 🤷🏻‍♂️

Buckeye Lake Flood Update. They had to evacuate west of 79/360 last night. The South Fork river has reached its peak it seems, hopefully it starts to recede in the next few hours.

Access to 70 EB from NB 79 has been maintained although you have to go through a little water.

KOA is underwater, 79 south is cut off just west of 360, Sellars point is underwater. Couldn't reach the dam to get eyes on.

SR40 detour is experiencing heavy traffic, allow plenty of time to travel through the area. Avoid if possible.

Caught our local paraglider checking out the highway from a safe distance (Telephoto zoom makes objects appear closer than they actually are)

Interstate 70 Flooded at Buckeye Lake

Update on I-70 Flooding as of 7:00PM

The water is starting to rise to a record high throughout the evening. Currently the eastbound exit to SR79 is closed. The On Ramp to 70 westbound is closed. Eastbound traffic on I-70 is now limited to only one lane.
