Six Flags has recently announced a 10% layoff, a move that will affect 500 positions across 42 parks. What will this mean for Ohio's parks?

A year ago, Cedar Fair, the owner of Cedar Point and Kings Island, and many other amusement parks across North America, was merged with Six Flags as the parent company.

LinkUs is a 25-year, $8 billion transportation plan for central Ohio. For the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) the funds come from a 0.5% sales tax. The voter-approved sales tax went into effect in April, so now the money has started actually coming in.
