The Museum of Broadcast Communications announced today the
selection of eight new Legends inductees into the Radio Hall of Fame, recognizing the talents and efforts of on-air personalities, programmers and operators who contributed with greatness to the radio industry and have since passed away.
The following eight radio legends take their place in the Radio Hall of Fame immediately:
Amos Brown - On-Air Personality
Richard Burden - Broadcast Engineer
Joanne Church – Research Executive
Jed The Fish - On-Air Personality
Irna Phillips – Scriptwriter, Producer and Programming Executive
Steve Smith - Programming Executive
Dale Sommers - “The Truckin’ Bozo,” On-Air Personality
Don Wade - On-Air Personality
The Radio Hall of Fame will recognize its 2025 class of inductees at the 2025 Radio Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the Swissotel Hotel, 323 E. Wacker Dr., Chicago, IL. Tickets are on sale now at: www.radiohalloffame.com.
